NZ Herald being sued over ‘Premium’ false advertising

The New Zealand Herald is in the midst of a lawsuit over claims that it knowingly just copy and pastes ‘Premium’ paid content articles. Two New Zealand readers allege that NZ Herald Premium is falsely advertised as the journalism is still ‘piss poor’ and full of grammar mistakes.

According to the lawsuit, which was filed in the Auckland District Court on June 2, the NZ Herald paid content is advertised as “premium” journalism that “is like no other.” The subscription is sold on the NZ Herald website.
